Social Fox FAQs

Do I purchase my domain through you?

We do not sell domains. You will need to purchase your domain from an ICANN registrar. Our highly recommend NameCheap as the company to purchase domains from. 

Can I run multiple businesses through one Social Fox account?

This depends on the nature of your businesses. If they have similar audiences and can be ran under an umbrella business name, then yes. If they are very different brands, or need different payment accounts, then it is recommended to have two Social Fox accounts. Ask us about our Buddy Plan for 2nd and 3rd accounts!

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. You have the ability to add unlimited domains, so you can create multiple websites.

Do I need website hosting?

Nope, Social Fox will host your websites for you. This is included in your plan at no additional charge. 

I have a website already, can I still use Social Fox?

Absolutely. If you have a beautiful WordPress site, don’t be silly and make more work for yourself. We provide $20/month Wordpress hosting so you can keep your Wordpress website, but ditch your hosting service. You are still saving boat loads with Social Fox and you can hook up your forms, web chat, calendars, and funnels right into your site no problem.

Do I need email hosting?

There are two types of email hosting. Professionally hosted email services and mass email marketing. At Social Fox you need both!

Professionally hosted email services are generally provided by companies like Google & Outlook. These services offer a dedicated email server for your domain, which means that all of your email will be sent and received from an email address that includes your domain name (e.g., [email protected]). These services often include features like robust spam filtering, calendar integration, and storage. They are managed the same way you would manage a free email service such as Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail. 

Mass email marketing is what you will be doing from Social Fox. It’s a 1-to-many model. Where you can send out emails at scale to many different email addresses. At Social Fox we offer Social Fox LC Email. Social Fox LC Email allows you to have your own email subdomain ([email protected]). This service costs $10 for short of 7500 emails. Social Fox LC Email comes with additional features such as email deliverability stats (how many people opened your emails, clicked or replied) as well as bounce notifications. Other options like Mailgun and Sendgrid are also available if you already have accounts with them.

Does Social Fox support language translation?

Yes we do!

Are there any additional costs for Social Fox?

The only other cost required to use Social Fox outside of your subscription is for email messaging & text messaging. 

For email messaging - we walk you through connecting Social Fox LC Email at $10 per short of 1500 emails.

For text messaging - we offer LC Phone at $0.0395/ text message segment. Lastly, purchasing a domain name also happens separately outside of Social Fox.

Social Fox offers various types of support to its users, including 24/7/364 chat support, searchable help library with dozens of walk-through videos, ever growing library of FAQ tutorials, 1-1 Zoom calls by request, and access to our Mastermind Community for collaboration. The support is designed to be friendly, professional, and accessible, to help you overcome any technical or strategic challenges you might encounter while using Social Fox.

Who owns the content I publish on Social Fox?

You own 100% of the content you create and publish inside your Social Fox account!

What about Social Fox templates, workflows, and other platform assets?

All Social Fox–created intellectual property — templates, automations, workflows, scripts, emails, graphics, trainings, structure, and system designs — remain the exclusive property of Social Fox even if you edit, update, customize, or publish them within your account.

You receive a license to use these assets while your subscription is active.

This license is:

- Non-exclusive (others may also use the assets)

- Non-transferable (you cannot resell, gift, or redistribute them)

- Revocable (the license ends if your subscription ends)

Customizing a Social Fox asset does not transfer ownership.
Your edits belong to you — but the underlying template or original IP remains the property of Social Fox.

How long has Social Fox been around and do you have longevity?

Social Fox has been in business since June 2019 and have no plans of slowing down. Our co-owners, Elizabeth & Bonni own businesses and/or other agencies for over 32 years, since Jan 1998, so they have experience and established longevity in this space. We are also backed by an investor so you can rest assured we plan on being in business for many many years to come!

Are my forms, surveys & communication with contacts secure?

While our services are hosted on secure Google servers, if you would like an extra layer of encryption, we recommend you request for HIPAA Compliance to be turned on for your account (Only available on the Diamond & Presidential Plans). The HIPAA Compliance feature allows your account to be fully encrypted end-to-end. Therefore you can rest assured the information in your account is fully protected. Typically this feature is an extra $300/mth with other platforms, but you get it as part of your membership with Social Fox.

Where did the name of Social Fox come from?

The original Founder, Roxanne Ray (aka Roxy) named Social Fox in two parts. She had always had the nickname FoxyRoxy. Her marketing agency was Be Foxy Marketing. So playing on the word “fox” she wanted to incorporate that some how. Social came about because the word fit nicely with fox and it incorporates what she started building here. Once the name Social Fox was thrown around for a day or two, in Roxy fashion, she made the decision to go with it and never looked back. The lesson here is to not dwell on business decisions too long. Usually your first gut instinct is the best fit. The goal is to always keep moving forward!
