Both of these platforms are considered all-in-one solutions but there are some very key differences between these two softwares that could make or break your decision. Most importantly, we’re going to break down the native functionality vs the cost of each platform so that you can make an informed decision on the best choice for you.

Both Keap (Infusionsoft) and Social Fox are focused on helping the small business owner simplify and consolidate their marketing efforts. Keap (Infusionsoft) provides website hosting, email management, SMS and phone call management, business automation, reputation management through Google My Business, calendar management, and sales pipeline functionality.

Multi-Passionate Business Owner Solution

Keap (Infusionsoft) is set up to be ideal for singular, sales forward business models. For the multi-passionate business owners, or business owners who want to manage more than one stream of income with Keap (Infusionsoft), you will likely need additional accounts to effectively achieve this, per their customer support team. 

Social Fox is set up for segmentation of similar business ventures through the hosting of multiple websites under different domains, unlimited sales funnels, and allowing multiple users for your Social Fox account. This effectively separates different income streams in your business but allows you to manage them in one place.

In short, if you have [or are planning on having] more than one similar business or income stream that you’d like to manage, Social Fox might be the most cost effective choice as you can manage those different businesses through one account. 

Social Media Marketing Solution

As an online business owner, or a brick and mortar business owner for that matter, in this day and age you need to be leveraging social media as a way to drive sales and bring in leads for your business. If you missed our last post, we covered what businesses should be posting on each social media platform so be sure to check that out. 

Because leveraging social media has become increasingly important in businesses marketing budgets, social media integration is a must within your marketing software. Keap (Infusionsoft) unfortunately doesn’t offer robust social media integration beyond the ability to share lead capture forms on Facebook. 

Social Fox, on the other hand, integrates directly with your Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts allowing you to not only schedule and post content to those platforms but also to utilize Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs from within your Social Fox account. 

You can set up automatic reply sequences when people message your business on social media and can also interact individually with users to build relationships and drive sales. Not only this but with our Facebook ads integration you can see real-time reporting on any Facebook ads you’re running for your business. This extends to Google ads as well, through our Google integration, making Social Fox a one stop shop letting you see the health of all your marketing efforts in one place, and under one login. 

Courses, Memberships, and Blogging

If you fall into the category of a multi-passionate entrepreneur you’re likely already leveraging digital products like online courses, recurring memberships, and even potentially blog posts to drive traffic to your offers. 

Unfortunately at this time, Keap (Infusionsoft) doesn’t have the native functionality for course, membership hosting, or blog management. They do integrate with Wordpress blogs but like we shared with you before, the less third party integrations that you have to manage the better, right? 

Social Fox is proud to offer a robust course hosting functionality with the ability to create and charge for recurring membership options for customers as well. Since this functionality is native to our platform, you can easily create business automations for your course to keep in touch with people who are moving through your course offerings. 

In addition to that, because we believe in making our content work for us long term, we offer native blogging functionality so you can continue to bring in new leads for years to come with your optimized blog posts. 

Support and Training

Keap (Infusionsoft) provides a number of different support and training options for their platform. They have an article bank for self-led training on different marketing and Keap specific topics. They also offer 4 pre-recorded webinars on popular topics including: Getting organized, capturing leads, broadcasts, and automations. If you need additional support from them, they do offer 24/7 technical chat support. 

As part of their initial set up, they have an optional paid onboarding process [more cost details on this below] that includes five calls with a Keap (Infusionsoft) rep to help you get started with your account. Social Fox offers a one-on-one Fast Start call for all our new members to help you hit the ground running with Social Fox and answer any additional questions that you have when getting started with your account. 

After your initial onboarding call, we also provide live Zoom troubleshooting calls for our members twice a week so you have access to live hands-on help weekly. When it comes down to it, at Social Fox, we believe that a company is really only as good as its customer support. You could have an amazing business, software, or product, but if you don’t support your customers then it’ll fall flat every time. We know that providing value and support to our users is what sets us apart and we strive to make sure that no one using Social Fox feels like an island. 

Now that we’ve covered the major difference in the functionality of Social Fox and Keap (Infusionsoft), let’s dive into the differences in the pricing structure for these two all-in-one small business marketing platforms.

Which Platform is the Better Value for Your Business?

The Keap (Infusionsoft) pricing structure is where things start to get a little bit more complex. They currently offer three different pricing tiers for their product: Keap Pro, Keap Max, and Keap Max Classic. At the time of writing this article, these tiers start at $149/month for the Pro version and increase from there to the Max classic version, which is priced upon request, starting at $250/month. 

In terms of getting started with Keap (Infusionsoft), as we previously mentioned, your onboarding calls aren’t included with your account purchase and aren’t eligible for every business. Per their website, they’re offered at Keap’s discretion and aren’t intended for new business owners, only established business owners. If you’re eligible for these services, they would cost an additional one time payment of $499. 

The three different Keap (Infusionsoft) tiers are based primarily on the number of contacts you have on your contact list but have other limitations as well. You’re allowed only a certain number of included users on your account with each tier [two for the Pro tier and three for Max and Max Classic tiers], although you can add more users for an additional recurring monthly fee. Similar to the additional monthly fee for added users, there are recurring monthly fees associated with contact lists greater than 2,500 people. So, if you’re lucky enough to have a large contact list, you’ll need to account for extra funds, to the tune of $30/month for each additional 1,000 people on your list that you plan to manage and communicate with through Keap (Infusionsoft). 

To break this down further, say you have a sales based business. You employ 4 sales associates and you have a contact list of 10,000 and growing. Your base price for Keap would end up being just shy of $520/month for the Max Classic plan, your additional user fee, and your additional fees based on your contact list size. 

Let’s contrast that with Social Fox’s pricing tiers. Social Fox currently offers three pricing tiers which we’ve geared towards business owners in different stages of their businesses. Our first tier, Elite, offers users the ability to communicate with their current customer base with integrated email, SMS, and social media messaging. These users also leverage Social Fox to help manage their social media channels with our social media scheduler and track leads to customers with our CRM and pipelines functionality. This is our leanest tier offering for new business owners or direct sales business owners. 

Our next two tiers, Diamond and Presidential, open up the full functionality that Social Fox has to offer. These plans give you access to all our features and also allow for unlimited contacts [no penalty for a large email list here!]. The Presidential Plan also gives you access to a monthly marketing memo from Social Fox’s founder and CEO, Roxanne Ray, as well as a monthly Paid Ads live and interactive training for business owners that are ready to kick their business into high gear and enter the world of advertising. 

Our monthly price also gives you access to all our past and future live trainings, live Zoom weekly troubleshooting sessions, and your one-on-one onboarding call with a member of our team [with no restrictions on what type of businesses get access to this feature]. 

Based on the needs of your business, and the size of your business, you can decide which of these platforms works best for you. From where we’re sitting, there’s comfort in knowing exactly what your monthly fee for your software will be, and knowing that your marketing software fees won’t increase as your business scales.

To Keap or Not to Keap?

So to Keap or not to Keap, that’s the question, right? Ultimately, you’re the deciding factor in your business. You know what makes the most sense for you. And you now know [or really you probably already knew] that not every all-in-one marketing solutions are created equal.
